About Siobhan
SENCo and Specialist Assessor for Exam Access Arrangements
I have been teaching in schools since 2002 - that makes me feel incredibly old, but my lovely students try to reassure me that isn't the case. I began my teaching career as a Geography teacher at Uckfield Community College, but have spent the last 11 years specialising in SEN, starting this journey as a Learning Support teacher at Longhill High school, then as Deputy SENCo at Hurstpierpoint College, and I now work as a SENCo at Seaford Head School.

I qualified as a Specialist Assessor for Exam Access Arrangements (CPT3A) in 2017 and have been leading on Exam Access Arrangements in schools since 2014, attending the annual update training to ensure I stay on top of all the changes.

My service is different to many other specialist assessors, as I am able to provide support and advice from a SENCo's perspective. Exam Access Arrangements are complicated, involving a huge amount of admin and stress. I can help streamline processes and advice on the most time and cost efficient way to approach the assessment and provision of exam access arrangements in your school.
